Non-Executive Independent Chairman
After graduating from University of Bangalore and earning his chartered accountancy in 1983, Mr. Seshadri spent two years working in finance within India before shifting his career abroad. In the following eight years, Mr. Seshadri worked with Peat Marwick Mitchell (later KPMG) as an audit and tax consultant in Muscat, and then in the financial services and property sectors in London.
In 1991, Mr. Seshadri returned to India to join Arthur Andersen where he worked on the India Country Leadership Team before becoming the Head of Business Consulting in 1998. Five years later, Mr. Seshadri helmed the merger of Andersen Business Consultancy Practice with KPMG Consulting to form one of India’s largest consultancy firms. He has also been a member of the Forex Market Policy Committee established by the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, and on the sub-committee of the Expert Group on Foreign Exchange Markets in India. Since 2004 Mr. Seshadri has worked as an entrepreneur consultant in the area of distressed business turnaround.
